Holiday Pocket Cards

Here's another pocket card for you and it's oh so easy!

You need a 4.25" x 11" cardstock.  Score at 1.50" and 7" mark on a score board.  If you don't have a score board, score one end at 1.50" and turn the cardstock to the other end and score at 4".  Fold on the score lines, use bone folder to burnish the folds.  The two ends should meet with no gap in between and the folded card should measure 4.25" x 5.50" which is a standard A2 card.  The folded bottom becomes the pocket, seal the sides only.

This is how the scores should look like.

This is the what the folded card should look like.

Embellish the front and inside of your card and you're done.  Isn't it easy?

On my first sample, I used the Nestled Poinsettia from Spellbinders Shapeablities to die cut the poinsettia.  I  also dry embossed the front panel with Stampin' Up's Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder.  Then I added a sentiment to the bottom panel.

What is missing here?  Leaves!!!  I will have to add leaves and upload another picture.

UPDATE:  Here's the one with leaves!

Below is the inside and side view.

The pocket can hold cash or gift card or both!!!

Tomorrow I'll show you the other pocket card I created.  Until then......... Cheers!!!

Supplies:  Cardstocks, inks and embossing folder from Stampin'Up.  Dies from Spellbinders.
